Respiratory diseases are the diseases which affect the respiratory system of our body. Respiratory diseases are one of the most common forms of ill-health. They are also a leading cause of hospitalization and death.
Some of the symptoms of respiratory diseases are:
• Shortness of breath
• Shortness of breath on exertion
• Chest pain
• Fatigue
• Weight loss and many more.
These diseases caused by respiratory problems can also prove fatal. A few of the names of respiratory diseases which are common are:
• Asthma
• Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Diseases (COPD)
• Breathing problems
• Chronic Bronchitis
• Lung Diseases
• Pharyngeal Diseases like tonsillitis.
• Respiratory tract infections like pneumonia, severe acute respiratory syndrome, etc
The causes are different for each. COPD mainly occurs in men who are into smoking. Other than this, a prevalent and the most common factor of respiratory diseases is air pollution. To cope up with the disease pollution should be reduced and proper lifestyle should be maintained.
